Our Stylist Says
I love the Solomia bed frame for its striking plush velvet upholstery and bold blue hue, making it a fantastic focal point in the bedroom. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary interiors where the colour can add a vibrant contrast, or in more muted schemes where it becomes a luxe statement piece. Styling tips include pairing it with layered neutral bedding to keep it looking sophisticated, or adding textured cushions and throws in complementary colours for a cosy, inviting feel. Practical tips include keeping the space around it uncluttered to emphasise its clean lines and plush fabric, and balancing it with minimalist bedside tables and lighting to highlight its luxurious texture without overwhelming the room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
