Price History

Description

Handwoven from a blend of silk, cotton, mohair and chenille to create a pattern that wraps fully around the edges of the canvas. About the artist Woven textile artist Meghan Spielman creates each of her artworks using unconventional and highly tactile materials like silk boucle, brushed mohair, glass seed beads, and chenille. Applying colour asymmetrically, the artist keeps the comfort and familiarity of timeless patterns while transforming them into something far from everyday.

Our Stylist Says

I love the 'Soliloquy XX' for its restrained yet engaging design, making it a versatile choice for a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary, minimalist, or Scandinavian spaces where subtle colour palettes are preferred, but it can also add a sophisticated touch to eclectic or bohemian settings. When styling, consider placing it above a neutral sofa or a simple sideboard to let its pattern come into focus. Practical tips include pairing it with matte frames or mounting it unframed for a clean look, and balancing the room’s colour scheme by echoing some of its tones in textiles or accessories nearby. It’s a thoughtful piece that can anchor a space while adding visual interest without overwhelming the decor.
