Derived from the French word for 'curled' or 'ringed' yarn or fabric. This handwoven upholstered furniture piece is made of 100% cotton and natural yarn, combining buffalo hide leather to create a beautiful fusion of colours and materials. It has a belted strap design and also features solid wood legs which have an oak-ish finish providing strength and durability.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
