Description

This stunningly crafted all Pine Monk Bench from Elm Home and Garden is a tribute to the integrity and visual impact of natural materials of a bygone era. The timeless strength and beauty of its natural material are evident the moment you set eyes on it. The perfect, oiled oak finish brings a rich patina to the wood, complementing the grain to give the bench an air of rustic sophistication that devastatingly accents any room with which it shares space. True simplicity and authenticity in design mean there is no veneer, stain, or artificial detail here, just pure, unadulterated oak in every inch of the bench.

Our Stylist Says

I love how this rustic pine hall bench brings both warmth and function to an entryway. The weathered finish and simple lines work beautifully in farmhouse, Scandi-inspired or relaxed industrial schemes, and because it’s made from reclaimed wood each piece has its own character. For styling, top it with a couple of textured cushions in muted hues to soften the wood, and keep a slim runner or stool beside it for easy seating. Underneath, use woven baskets or matching wooden trays to keep shoes organised. Finally, hang a round mirror or a set of coat hooks above to complete a practical yet inviting arrival space.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
