Full feature colonial headboard & footboard complete with bed knobs. Your bed frame is made from thick solid pine wood making the bed strong and long-lasting. Beds with full-length side rails have been designed to be extra thick to make them last the test of time. Extra slats to support your mattress for a high 250kg weight limit. Hypoallergenic high-density 400gsm foam quilted top layer. Medium firm rating for all ages & sleeping positions 16cm thick. Hybrid pocket sprung & memory foam mattress option. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
