I’m a fan of this mango sideboard for its mix of painted frame and warm, reclaimed timber - it adds texture without overpowering a room. Its clean lines and neutral white finish make it a natural fit in coastal, Scandinavian or modern farmhouse schemes, and it works equally well as hallway storage or a compact media console.
For styling, keep the top simple: a round wall mirror or slim-profile artwork above, a small cluster of ceramics or books at one end and a low plant or sculptural lamp at the other. Inside, use matching woven baskets or fabric boxes to corral keys, chargers and other everyday bits, so the louvred doors stay neat and the wood grain remains the focus.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
