Our Stylist Says
I love this solar-powered outdoor light for adding a playful yet charming touch to garden pathways or borders. Its colourful rose design works beautifully in outdoor spaces that have a relaxed or whimsical theme, but it can also act as a colourful focal point in more contemporary, minimalist gardens when paired thoughtfully. For styling tips, consider using these lights along a curved pathway or around a patio to create a soft, inviting glow after dark. They’re great for adding colour without the fuss of wiring, making them ideal for renter-friendly or low-maintenance gardens. Just ensure they’re placed where they’ll get enough sunlight during the day to keep them bright through the evening.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
