I’m a fan of this six-drawer chest for its clean lines and warm natural oak tone, which feel at home in Scandinavian, coastal or minimalist schemes. Its shallow drawers are ideal for organising linens or stationery without taking up too much depth, and the integrated handles keep the look streamlined. To style it, group a low ceramic lamp with a taller vase and a small stack of books, or hang a round mirror above to draw the eye upwards. Tuck a woven basket alongside for extra storage and texture, and keep the top clutter-free to maximise that light, airy feel.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
