Description

A console table is often not considered when setting up until you bring it home. It can be used as a console table, sofa table, or entry table, suitable for an entryway, hallway, living room and office. On the tabletop, you have enough space to decorate photos, flowers, books and much more. With its vintage design, this console table not only offers an attractive industrial look, but is also characterised by superior durability and stability. In the living room, you can place the table as a side table behind the sofa. In the entrance area you can use it as a console table or simply decorate in the kitchen as you like.

Our Stylist Says

I’m drawn to this slim console for its clean lines and mix of warm wood-effect top with a black metal frame - it slots straight into industrial, Scandi or modern farmhouse schemes without overwhelming a hallway or behind-sofa space. Its narrow depth makes it ideal for tight corridors, yet there’s enough surface for a table lamp and a couple of decorative pieces. For styling, balance height and shape: place a round mirror or slim picture frame above, then group objects on the table surface - perhaps a compact lamp on one side, a stack of books with a small plant on the other. Keep the middle clear to avoid a cluttered look and consider adding a slim drawer organiser or a shallow basket underneath for keys and mail.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
