About Rebecca Rebouche Rebecca Rebouche creates nostalgic, emotive and whimsical art out of paint, mixed media and stitched soft sculpture. The Louisiana native got her start on the road showing her paintings at art festivals around the country. Today, she continues to be inspired by the romance of the South, namely the flora and fauna that surround her rural studio. Here, she translates her aesthetic onto a crewelwork curtain. Soaring Starlings Curtain by Anthropologie Size: 108"
I love these curtains for their lively, nature-inspired print that can bring a touch of vitality to various interiors. They work especially well in bohemian, eclectic, or even modern spaces if you want a pop of colour. The design's playful starling motif pairs beautifully with neutral wall tones during the day, allowing the pattern to take centre stage, but they can also complement a more colourful scheme. For styling, consider hanging them in a straightforward way to showcase the print or layering with sheers in a neutral tone for added softness and flexibility in light control. Their bold motif makes them a statement piece, so keep other accessories minimal to let the pattern stand out.
