They’re exceptionally comfortable and snugly compact, so it’s no wonder the sofas and chairs in the Snug collection are so popular. They’re stylish with contemporary curved lines. And they’re wonderfully comfortable to relax in, deeply cushioned with high backs. Opt for fabric or leather upholstery in a choice of lovely colours. You may be tempted by the option of manual recliners or power recliners with USB ports. It’s compact in design for smaller spaces and wonderfully comfortable, with more than a dash of contemporary style so it’s no surprise that the Snug fabric power recliner chair is so popular. The comfort comes from recent design improvements including a stronger frame and a higher density foam with fibre seat cushion resting on no-sag springs. And there’s the added support and pampering luxury of a high back with inbuilt headrest, arm cushions and a deep, fibre filled back cushion. The space-saving chair is beautifully upholstered in high quality soft touch fabric in a choice of colours. Choose as fixed seat, or with an optional manual or power recliner – the power recliner includes a useful USB port. The Snug fabric power recliner chair is part of the fantastic value Snug collection and exclusive to Furniture Village. Top Tip. To keep your fabric sofa or chair looking good, plump the seat and back cushions and any scatter cushions regularly, and – where possible – turn and rotate to ensure even wear. Plumping and rotation is important as interiors settle over time, and some fabrics can show wear on areas of more use or in direct sunlight. Using a soft brush or vacuuming with the curtain attachment weekly prolongs the life of fabric upholstery. Ideally clean professionally annually. If your sofa or chair is a recliner model, please allow time for the recliner to settle. Minor gaps are necessary for ease of motion, and vary depending on floor type. Manual recliners can feel a little stiff at first, but the motion eases with use.
I’m a big fan of the Snug recliner for its blend of comfort and clean lines - the soft fabric finish and generous padding make it a versatile addition to both modern and classic living rooms. The deep navy tone sits beautifully against neutral walls or alongside warm timber floors, and the power-lift function keeps the look sleek without visible levers. For styling, treat it as your reading-nook hero: layer a chunky knit throw over one arm and add a textured cushion in a complementary hue (burnt orange or muted gold work well). Position it near a slimline side table and a floor lamp for an inviting corner. Make sure you leave a little clearance behind for the recline action and hide the plug neatly behind or beneath a low cabinet so functionality never compromises your scheme.
