Description
Gather round the Snug Caracas smokeless fire pit on cooler evenings outside. Its double-wall steel bowl is built to burn cleaner, so you get the warmth and flames of a real wood fire with far less smoke. The all-black finish suits any garden or patio. The clever part is the airflow. Air is drawn in under the raised base, heated as it rises between the inner and outer walls, then fed back in through jets near the top. This burns off most of the smoke before it leaves the bowl, while a raised X-grate keeps the wood well supplied with air. There's a generous 40cm burning area, and a steel poker is included. There's no assembly, so it's ready to light. Use it outdoors on a stable, non-flammable surface. Please Note: Burns wood only, and is not suitable for wood pellets. Seasoned hardwoods, such as oak, pecan or hickory, and harder softwoods, such as juniper and cedar, burn best. Seasoned means the wood has been dried out, so it burns cleaner. Use outdoors on a stable, level, non-flammable surface, away from anything that can catch fire. Never leave a lit fire unattended and let it cool fully before moving or covering it. Steel weathers over time outdoors; cover or store under shelter when not in use to protect it. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe use. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
