Description
The Smash collection explores the expressive potential of natural stone through a contemporary lens. Each table features a distinctive geometric mosaic made from mixed marble fragments set within a BPA-free resin to create a striking, tactile, terrazzo-style surface. The rich, intentionally selected palette of green, forest green, and spider green marble fragments is finished with a honed matte tabletop that delivers a soft, velvety touch while enhancing the graphic quality of the stone. Built for lasting durability, the heavy-weight tabletops rest on sleek, PFAS-free black powder-coated cast aluminium legs. Crafted from natural marble, no two Smash Tables are ever identical. The unique veining and organic shifts in colour tone ensure your table is entirely one of a kind.
Our Stylist Says
I really like this side table for its sleek, minimalist design and the way it combines materials-a stone top with black legs-that can add a modern edge to a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in contemporary or industrial schemes, but can also pop against more neutral or textured settings when styled thoughtfully. Practical tips include stacking a few books or a small decorative object on top to create visual interest, while pairing it with low seating or within a corner for functional yet stylish accent. Its compact form makes it versatile-you can use it as a bedside table, occasional surface, or even in a hallway corner for quick access to essentials.

About Tom Dixon
From Bass Guitar to Design Guru
Tom Dixon isn't your typical designer. Starting as the bass guitarist for Funkapolitan, a twist of fate led him to the world of design after a series of motorbike accidents.
By the 1980s, he was gaining recognition with pieces like the iconic "S' chair for Italian giant Cappellini. By the 90s, his creativity brought him to the forefront of British design, even rejuvenating the Habitat brand.
But it wasn't until 2002 that the Tom Dixon brand was established, with its base in London's King's Cross. The brand, known for pioneering lighting, furniture, and accessories, quickly gained international acclaim and is now represented in 90 countries.
Master of Materials
Tom Dixon's genius lies in his ability to reimagine ordinary materials. From the early days, he transformed found objects and industrial materials into art.
Whether it's the allure of copper, the shine of stainless steel, the imperfections in hand-beaten brass, or the timeless nature of stone, Tom Dixon products always have a unique touch.
His signature products, from the Melt pendant inspired by molten glass to the instantly recognizable Beat, S Chair, and Wingback, can be found in museums like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and MOMA in New York.
More Than Just Products
Tom Dixon's impact isn't limited to individual items. In 2007, he launched Design Research Studio, which has since redefined spaces around the world.
From the Drugstore Brasserie in Paris to reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, his design agency creates immersive environments.
