Description

A beautiful shade of mint green, the salamis parhassusbutterfly looks magnificent on this high-quality, wooden framed print inspired by the photographer Göran Liljeberg. Also referred to as the Mother Of Pearl butterfly due to the lovely sheen appearance of its wings, this African butterfly print is the perfect piece of wall art for those who appreciate the beauty of nature.

Our Stylist Says

I love this butterfly print for adding a touch of nature-inspired charm to a variety of interiors. Its compact size and simple wooden frame make it versatile-perfect for both cluttered shelves and mantelpieces or as part of a gallery wall. It works particularly well in eclectic, boho, or Scandinavian schemes where natural textures and subtle colour accents are key. For styling, try pairing it with other botanical prints or mixed-media pieces to create a curated, personalised look. To keep the focus on the delicate butterfly, hang it at eye level in well-lit spots, and consider layering with other smaller artworks to build visual interest without overwhelming the space.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
