Description
Elegant and understated, the Small Velour Piped Cushion in Silver brings a cool-toned sophistication to your space, and its compact size makes it ideal for layering or styling in smaller areas. The silver finish reflects light subtly, while the velour texture adds a tactile element that feels indulgent. Finished with piping, it s a cushion that balances comfort and polish.
Our Stylist Says
This small velour cushion in silver is a versatile choice for adding a touch of understated luxury to your space. Its muted tone works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, but can also soften more eclectic or traditional schemes. I love how the velour fabric adds a subtle sheen and tactile quality, making it an easy update for sofas, beds, or window seats. For styling, consider pairing it with other cushions in complementary colours or textures to create visual interest without overwhelming the space. Practical tip: use it as a statement piece on a neutral armchair or as an accent on a layered bedscape - it’s all about using small touches to elevate your overall aesthetic effortlessly.

About BHS.com
Historical Roots
British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.
Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.
Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!
Expansion and Evolution
BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.
They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
