Description

Working beautifully with both classic and modern schemes, the Small Velour Piped Cushion in Navy introduces a moody elegance to your interiors. The velour fabric offers a soft, luxurious feel, while the piped edge adds a tailored detail that enhances its shape. It s a compact, 43x43cm cushion with a big impact.

Our Stylist Says

I love the navy velour cushion for its rich, sophisticated hue and soft texture, which adds a touch of luxury to both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in neutral colour schemes, creating a striking focal point, or as part of a layered look on a sofa or bed for cosy appeal. Practical styling tips include pairing it with lighter or contrasting cushions to enhance its bold shade, and placing it where it can catch natural light to showcase the velvety finish. Because of its timeless colour and plush material, it's versatile enough to be used year-round and can effortlessly complement a range of décor styles-from Scandi to classic.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
