Create a soft and romantic aesthetic in your space with the Small Velour Piped Cushion in Blush. This 43x43cm cushion brings a gentle charm to your home and is ideal for layering with larger styles or using as a standalone accent. The blush pink tone is perfect for adding a feminine touch to neutral or pastel palettes. The velour surface feels smooth and inviting, while the piped edge adds a refined finish.

Our Stylist Says

This blush velour cushion is a versatile piece that adds a soft, inviting touch to any space. I love its understated elegance and plush texture, making it ideal for both contemporary and traditional interiors. It works particularly well on sofas or beds, where it can bring a hint of colour and cosy comfort without overpowering the overall scheme. For practical styling, consider pairing it with neutral or muted tones to keep the look contemporary, or mix with other blush and pastel accessories for a coordinated, relaxed vibe. Its piped edging adds subtle detail, making it a stylish yet understated choice for updating a living room or bedroom effortlessly.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
