The PANTHELLA was designed in 1971 by Verner Panton in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. Its exceptional design not only reflects Panton's playful style, but also offers a one of a kind, pleasant light thanks to the organic shapes. The hemispherical shade emits most of the light downwards, where it's reflected by the trumpet-shaped base and bathes the surroundings in a soft, diffuse light. The light source is included and permanently installed. It emits warm white light with low brightness. The light has a sensor on the lamp that allows it to be switched on and off and dimmed in 3 steps. The battery is charged via the supplied micro-USB cable.
I love this mini version of the Panthella for its playful yet functional design-it’s perfect for adding a touch of retro charm to any space. Its compact size makes it ideal for bedside tables, desks, or even as a decorative accent on open shelving. The lamp works well in both modern and mid-century inspired interiors, offering a pop of colour and a soft glow that enhances cosy corners or workspaces. For styling tips, pair it with streamlined furniture or vintage accessories to create a balanced look. Its portable nature allows you to easily move it around, making it a versatile piece that combines form and function effortlessly.
