Description
This pendant lamp emits a soft, harmonious and pleasant light that is mainly directed downwards. Poul Henningsen used his well-known three-shade system as the basis for this lamp. He designed this system in 1925 with the aim of giving attractive, glare-free light a shape. The first lamp to use this three-shade system was developed in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. Dimmable in combination with dimmable light source and external dimmer. Mouth-blown craftsmanship: each piece is unique and may vary slightly from the images Made in Denmark
Our Stylist Says
I love this pendant for its clean, understated design that adds a touch of Scandinavian minimalism to any space. It works especially well in kitchens, dining areas, or cosy reading nooks where a direct yet soft light is needed. Its layered structure offers an interesting visual appeal without overpowering the surroundings. For styling, consider grouping a few at varying heights for a more dynamic look or pairing it with warm-toned accents and natural materials like wood or textiles to create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Practical tip: hanging it at different heights over a dining table can also help navigate lighting for both function and style.
