Designed by The Basket Room and handcrafted in Kenya, the small Colour Block Basket is the perfect plant pot, desk tidy, or stylish storage solution for odds and ends. Woven from sisal plant by a small collective of female weavers living near the Masinga Dam in Kenya, the basket features a striking colour block design in natural hues. A craft as old as mankind, basket weaving inspired Camilla and Holly to found The Basket Room and support local weavers. In supporting these communities in Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya and Swaziland, the workers benefit from fair wages, dignified working conditions and the ability to work alongside their other roles. Please note: Due to the handcrafted nature of these baskets, no two are the same.
