Description
With its slender tripod base and curves, this coffee table is inspired by fifties elegance. The bold curves of its bean-shaped top display organic forms inspired by Scandinavian nature. To create this collection, British designer David Hodkinson took inspiration from the 50s and 60s, and in particular Scandinavian design and its legendary designers such as Finn Juhl and Alvar Aalto. This vintage style coffee table combines solid oak with beautiful touches of colour in traditional lacquer that give it brightness and modernity. Hand-made, this table requires meticulous workmanship and irreproachable know-how to obtain these deep and ultra-brilliant colours through the application of successive layers of traditional lacquer. The oak contours of the top emphasise the organic shape and contrast with the gloss of the coloured lacquer. The Red Edition coffee table comes in a wide range of colours and trendy materials and so adapts to all types of interiors. Available in 2 sizes, Red Edition coffee tables allow infinite combinations in pull-out mode. In Small version, it can also be used as a bedside table or end of sofa. Red Edition coffee tables are also perfect in a child's room since their bean shape has no dangerous corners.
