Our Stylist Says
I love this Sloomy Kansas Silver bed base for its clean, contemporary look and practical features. Its neutral silver tone makes it versatile, fitting well into both minimalist and luxe interiors. The two drawers at the foot end add valuable storage without cluttering the room, making it ideal for smaller spaces or those seeking extra organisation. The floor-standing headboard offers a subtle height that can be styled easily with layered bedding or statement cushions. For styling tips, pair it with soft, textured textiles and metal accents to enhance its modern appeal, or layer with cosy throws and warm lighting for a more inviting look. Overall, it's a practical, stylish choice that works well in bedrooms with a contemporary or understated aesthetic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
