Description
From the local surroundings of Epping Forest to the coasts of Cornwall and Kent, artist Sharon Drew is captivated by nature; the sculptural twists of oak, the autumnal colours of beech and hornbeam, expansive skies, and turbulent water. Drew seeks visual metaphors for the sensation of momentum and shifting light, rather than depicting a particular place. 'In this age of instant gratification and constant distraction, it is difficult to be fully present in a place, process or moment in time. And yet it is this feeling of total immersion that I strive for through my art,' she says. 'Slipstream' by Sharon Drew Acrylic on canvas Exclusive piece From the M.A.H Gallery collection
Our Stylist Says
I love this piece because of its vibrant yet calming palette and its modern, abstract style. It works beautifully in contemporary or coastal interiors where a splash of colour can enhance a neutral backdrop, bringing energy without overpowering. Practical styling tips include pairing it with understated furniture in natural materials like wood or linen to let the artwork stand out, or grouping it with similar abstract pieces to create a dynamic mini gallery. It’s versatile enough to hang in living rooms, bedrooms, or even a stylish home office, serving as a focal point that adds visual interest and a sense of movement to the space.

About Soho Home
From Humble Requests to Global Homes
Soho Home's journey began from a simple love for their unique designs. The brand's inception was sparked by guests' desires to take a piece of Soho Houses with them, cherishing their favourite items from these comforting spaces.
This led to the birth of Soho Home in 2016 with their Barwell crystal glassware. Fast forward, the brand has expanded beyond just a few staples, encompassing a wide array of interior items ranging from furniture and tableware to home fragrances and textiles.
