I’m a big fan of the Dice footboard in brown for adding both substance and style at the end of a double bed. Its deep, tufted upholstery and warm hue slot effortlessly into contemporary, Scandi-inspired or even industrial bedrooms, grounding lighter linens or contrasting well with metal accents.
For a pulled-together look, layer a chunky knit throw over the footboard and tuck in a couple of woven baskets underneath for out-of-sight storage. Pair with simple bedside tables in black metal or pale wood, and stick to a restrained palette of greys, creams and muted blues so the rich brown remains the focal point.
