Price History

Description

This striking, contemporary collage paints skulls in a fresh light. Crafted from thick, carefully measured sections of printed cardboard, layered to form a large human skull adorned with butterflies, tropical flowers and jungle creatures; each piece of card has been cut to the right size in order for the collage to come together properly. Having the card applied to the mount at different levels helps to make the skull appear more 3D and lifelike. If you previously thought that skulls were far too dark and macabre to be dressing your walls, perhaps it's time to reconsider? The collage has been mounted on high quality card, then glazed and set in a black resin frame.

Our Stylist Says

I love this skull collage because of its eclectic mix of colours and textures, making it a real statement piece. It works particularly well in contemporary or boho interiors where bold art can add character and individuality. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral or minimalist surroundings to let the artwork stand out, or combine it with other vibrant accessories for a lively, curated feel. Practical tips include hanging it at eye level in living areas or hallways to create an instant focal point, and keeping surrounding frames simple so the artwork remains the centre of attention.
