Description
Milan architects Ludovica and Roberto Palomba present Sissi: a sculptural piece, a nod to the past. This armchair pays tribute to Viennese curved wood furniture from the end of the 19th century. The back is made from two interlinked rings that appear to have been hand bent by Viennese craftsmen! The interlinking of sinuous and dynamic lines is characterised by a wonderful play on solid and hollow shapes. The simple shapes, curved and ethereal, are very refined. Sissi is modern, simple, light and elegant shapes. Made in fibreglass reinforced polypropylene, this chair is ultra original, wide and comfortable. Stackable and easy to live with, it can be used indoors and out.
