Description

With the Tumbatu bedding set you get vivid colour in abundance – the duvet cover and pillowcase are both finished in a vibrant red colour and feature a decorative print that introduces a bold pattern into the décor. This set is for a single bed, so a single pillowcase is included for a consistent theme throughout. Use this bedding against a simple white backdrop for a statement look in your bedroom spaces!.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bedding set for its rich, earthy hue and its versatile pattern that lends itself well to both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in spaces with warm tones or natural textures, such as wooden or wicker furniture. To style it effectively, consider pairing with neutral or complementary decorative cushions and keep accessories minimal to let the bedding be the focal point. Layering it with textured throws or adding crisp white sheets underneath can also elevate its look while maintaining a cosy, inviting feel. It's an excellent choice for creating a warm, grounding atmosphere in both bedrooms with a relaxed, boho vibe or more polished, contemporary decor.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
