Description

For a sophisticated injection of colour in your bedroom décor, our stonewashed cotton bedding set in a deep denim colour is a great choice, offering a strong blue tone to the décor for a cooler palette in the space. This single set features a duvet cover and matching pillowcase, so you’ll be able to give a consistent theme to your entire bed, whilst the 155 thread count 100% cotton material ensures a softer feel that’s sure to help you drift off into deep, relaxing night’s sleep at the end of the day.

Our Stylist Says

I love this denim bed set for its casual yet polished vibe, making it versatile across a range of interiors from contemporary to industrial or even vintage-inspired spaces. The wash gives it a relaxed, lived-in feel that’s perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere without sacrificing style. It works well layered with textured throws or contrasting pillows to add depth, and is especially effective paired with neutral tones or softer hues to make the denim pop. Practical styling tips include keeping the bedding simple for an effortless look, and adding tactile elements like a chunky knit or linen throws to lift the overall aesthetic. It’s a great choice for those looking to combine comfort with a bit of edge.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
