Description

The simplehuman sensor mirror compact gives you the confidence of "tru-lux" lighting on the go! The tru-lux light system simulates natural sunlight, allowing you to see full colour variation, so you'll know when your makeup is colour-correct and flawless. The 3x magnification gives you a hyper-clear view of every detail. A built in sensor turns the light on automatically when taken out of the smart pouch, and turns it off when put back in. The power button lets you toggle between 650, 300 or 110 lux brightness settings. A fold-out ring handle is secure and comfortable in your hand, or can be used as a stand for hands-free viewing. It recharges with a standard USB port (cable included), and one charge lasts up to 1 week with typical daily usage. Contains rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (included). Additional features: 3x magnification: a hyper-clear view to show every detail. Tru-lux light system: at 650 lux and with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 95, the tru-lux light system closely simulates natural sunlight's full colour spectrum to show every detail Sensor on/off: automatic on/off as you take out or put it in the smart pouch Ring handle: secure and comfortable in your hand or for use as a stand Three light settings: choose your preferred level of brightness from 650 lux, 300 lux or 110 lux Rechargeable: one charge lasts up to 1 week with typical daily usage Distortion-free mirror: precise curvature for distortion-free optics - even around the edges Optimum reflectivity: ultra-clear glass backed by a high-purity aluminium coating

Our Stylist Says

I love this sensor mirror for its sleek, compact design that fits seamlessly into both modern and minimalist interiors. Its clean, round shape and subtle finish make it an unobtrusive addition to a dressing table or bathroom vanity. It works particularly well in contemporary spaces due to its streamlined look, but it can also add a touch of tech-savvy sophistication to more traditional schemes. Practical styling tips include placing it on a clutter-free surface with soft lighting nearby to enhance its illumination features, ensuring you get clear, precise reflection every time. Its sensor activation is a real game-changer, making it perfect for busy mornings when you need quick, hassle-free grooming.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
