I’m a big fan of the Hadley velvet chair for its soft, quilted back and cool silver tone, which instantly lifts a dining space without feeling too fussy. The slender black legs give it a modern edge and mean it works equally well in contemporary, Scandi-inspired or even art-deco settings.
Pair it with a dark timber or marble-topped table to let the velvet really pop, and add simple linen napkins or monochrome place mats to keep the look crisp. For everyday practicality, fit felt pads under the legs to protect floors, and give the fabric a quick once-over with a soft brush to keep it looking fresh.
