Description

Nesting for your new arrival? Discover the Silver Cross Seville nursery furniture collection, with all of the essentials for creating your baby’s first bedroom. Inviting a fresh and calming feeling into any nursery space, Seville’s quality design features clean, elegant lines and gender-neutral tones of soft cashmere and natural oak. Designed to ensure timeless, long-lasting quality, the Seville nursery furniture set can be enjoyed for years to come as your family grows. Cot to toddler bed: The Seville cot bed will suit every stage of your little one’s growth from their first night at home up until their toddler years. With three mattress height positions, the cot bed should be used in the highest setting for your newborn and lowered gradually as they start to roll, sit and stand. When the cot railings are no longer needed, they can be easily removed to leave behind a safe and stylish toddler bed using the same base. Dresser: Keep your little one’s belongings organised in Seville’s spacious three-drawer dresser, with plenty of room for clothing and bedding. For nappy and outfit changes, attach the changer top to your dresser or, when no longer needed, use it as an arts and crafts tray or handy under-crib storage basket. Wardrobe: The Silver Cross Seville wardrobe is the perfect spot to display your baby’s clothing, with two hanging rails and shelves providing lots of space. As your baby grows, the lower rail and shelf can be easily removed for larger garments. Crafted for long-lasting quality Suitable from newborn to toddler (approx. 4 years) Cot bed converts easily to a toddler bed to grow with your child Compatible with all Silver Cross True. Fit™ mattresses or standard size 140cm x 70cm mattresses (sold separately) Full-size dresser with three deep drawers Full-size wardrobe with two hanging rails and two shelves

Our Stylist Says

This nursery set balances practicality with understated style, making it a versatile choice for a range of interiors. The white and oak finish brings a fresh, modern look that pairs well with both contemporary and classic schemes - think pastel palettes, muted tones, or even bold colour accents for added personality. The clean lines and natural wood detail make it easy to incorporate into schemes that emphasise calm and minimalism, or more eclectic spaces with layered textures and patterns. For styling tips, consider adding soft textiles such as cosy rugs or textured cushions, and use storage baskets or organisers to keep the space neat. The timeless design also allows for future flexibility, meaning the cotbed can transition from nursery to toddler’s room seamlessly.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
