Description

A stylish addition that fits seamlessly into any home, the Silver Cross Bromley nursery furniture collection is timeless and elegant. The set has all the essentials you need, with a cot to toddler bed and dresser. Providing the perfect canvas for creating your little one’s dream nursery, Bromley features a soft finish with contrasting cast pewter handles. Bromley nursery furniture is expertly crafted for long-lasting quality so you can enjoy it for years to come – whether it’s passed through your family or onto another. Cot to toddler bed: The Bromley cot bed will suit every stage of your little one’s growth from their first night at home up to their toddler years. With three mattress heights, the cot bed should be used in the highest setting for your newborn and lowered gradually as they start to roll, sit and stand. When the cot railings are no longer needed, they can be easily removed to leave behind toddler bed using the same base. Dresser: Keep things organised in Bromley’s spacious three-drawer dresser, with plenty of room for clothing and bedding. For nappy and outfit changes, attach the changer top to your dresser or, when no longer needed, use it as an arts and crafts tray or storage basket. Wardrobe: The Silver Cross Bromley wardrobe is the perfect spot to display your baby’s clothing, with two hanging rails and an overhead shelf providing plenty of space. As your baby grows, the lower rail can be easily removed for larger garments. Crafted for long-lasting quality From newborn to toddler (approx. 4 years) Cot bed converts easily to a toddler bed to grow with your child Compatible with all Silver Cross True. Fit™ mattresses or standard size 140cm x 70cm mattresses (sold separately) Full-size dresser with changer top and three deep drawers Full-size wardrobe with two hanging rails and overhead shelf

Our Stylist Says

I love this set for its clean, timeless look that works well in a range of nursery styles, from Scandi-inspired schemes to more classic interiors. The all-white finish keeps the space feeling fresh and bright, while the simple, functional design makes it versatile and easy to accessorise. The cotbed is practical for long-term use as it converts from a crib to a toddler bed, and pairing it with the double wardrobe and dresser provides ample storage without cluttering the room. To style it effectively, consider adding soft textiles like textured cot blankets or colourful storage baskets to introduce warmth and personality. It’s a practical, stylish choice that keeps the nursery looking cohesive and organised.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
