Safer for them and kinder to the environment, Eco Comfort Fibres ensure the free flow of air to reduce moisture build-up and help regulate body temperature, for a more breathable night's sleep. Together with the open coil spring system, the mattress is zoned to help healthily align the spine as they grow and provide full body support from head to toe. Finished with a soft knit cover for a super snug, cloud-like feel. Helping to protect your children from common nasties, the mattress is hypoallergenic which reduces the effects of allergy triggers including dust mites, mould and bacteria. This mattress is not suitable for top of bunk. The Comfort+ range is suitable for kids who are choosing their first mattress or pre-teen mattress, supporting their growing bodies at each stage. The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
