I’m a big fan of this grey hallway bench because its clean lines and muted tone slot effortlessly into most schemes - from Scandi‐inspired flats to modern farmhouse hallways. The built-in storage means you can keep clutter out of sight, making it ideal for busy homes where boots, umbrellas and bags need a dedicated spot.
To style it, add a thin foam bench pad in a complementary colour and a couple of patterned cushions for comfort and personality. Overhead, a row of simple brass hooks or a slim shelf can balance the look and keep daily essentials on hand. Inside the bench, use small wicker baskets or fabric boxes to organise scarves, gloves and pet leads so everything remains neat and easy to find.
