Description

Travertine Effect 200x100cm Sierra Dining Table is an eye-catching yet understated central piece for the dining room. The subtle, neutral colour palette complements various interior design styles and at 200x100cm, the tabletop is a generous size for practical use, while the circular shape legs soften the overall look. Crafted from concrete designed with a water transfer travertine effect which beautifully mimics natural travertine in gorgeous neutral tones. You can style this versatile table in multiple ways, playing with different styles and colours of dining chairs for a stunning display.

Our Stylist Says

The Sierra dining table is a fantastic choice for creating a versatile and contemporary dining area. Its neutral tone and simple, clean lines make it extremely adaptable, working well in both minimalist and more textured interiors such as Scandi or industrial styles. I love pairing it with a mix of wooden and metal chairs to add visual interest, or with upholstered seating for a softer, more welcoming feel. Practical styling tips include keeping accessories minimal - a statement pendant light overhead and a few personal touches like a vase or candlesticks can enhance the setting without cluttering the space. Its sizeable 200cm length comfortably accommodates larger gatherings, making it as functional as it is stylish.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
