Our Stylist Says
I really like this shoe bench because it combines practicality with a warm, rustic aesthetic thanks to its wood finish. It’s perfect for hallways or bedrooms where storage and seating are both needed - offering a convenient spot to sit down while putting on shoes, plus a handy compartment for organised shoe storage. The bronze cushion adds a touch of sophistication, making it feel more like a furniture piece than just storage. It works well in both modern country homes and more industrial-style interiors, especially when styled with natural textures or mixed with other wooden accents. For styling tips, consider pairing it with woven baskets, a couple of indoor plants, or a cosy throw on top for a welcoming and functional setup that helps keep your space tidy.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
