Description
A modern Nordic-style shoe bench designed for practical entryway organisation. Features a comfortable removable padded grey fabric seat for sitting while putting on or taking off shoes. The unit includes one cabinet with a white door and an internal shelf, providing enclosed storage for shoes. Two drawers offer additional storage: the upper drawer has a grey front, and the lower drawer features an oak-effect front—ideal for shoe care items, keys, or small accessories. The structure is built from PB/Chipboard with a white finish, supported by four sturdy natural oak-effect wooden legs. The cabinet door opens smoothly on metal hinges and is secured with a magnetic catch; drawers operate on smooth runners with integrated cut-out handles. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
