Ideal for lighting your bathrooms with a practical task light, our Shirley Curved Bathroom Wall Light features a chrome finish that can be beautifully styled in any room for a stylish, modern touch. The unique shade features a prism bar design that encompasses the light within and diffuses a softer ambience throughout your room – ideal for unwinding and relaxing. The handy IP44 rating ensures this light can withstand some water damage, making it perfect for any bathroom.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its sleek, modern look that instantly elevates any bathroom scheme. The curved glass design is both elegant and functional, providing a soft, diffused glow that’s perfect for creating a calming atmosphere. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, where its chrome finish adds a touch of sophistication without overpowering the overall aesthetic. For styling tips, consider pairing it with other chrome or glass accessories to create a cohesive look, and place it either above a vanity mirror or along the wall for balanced lighting that enhances the space’s style and practicality.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
