Our Stylist Says
I love the striking lime green colour of this parasol; it’s a vibrant choice that injects energy into outdoor spaces, making it ideal for modern patios or garden dining areas. Its sizeable 3m span offers excellent shade coverage, perfect for casual gatherings or relaxing in the sunshine. The beige underside adds a subtle contrast that works well with neutral outdoor furnishings, while the black framework provides a sleek, contemporary finish. Practical styling tips include pairing it with woven rattan furniture or minimalist designs to keep the look fresh and uncluttered. When positioning, consider anchoring it with a heavy base to ensure stability, and for a cohesive style, add matching cushions or accessories in similar or complementary colours to enhance the overall outdoor aesthetic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
