Description
Shade yourself in style when you're relaxing in your garden with our Shanghai Parasol. Designed with a crank handle to easily open, plus a tilt mechanism to easily tilt. Whereas most parasols have 6 to 8 ribs, the Shanghai has 16 ribs for an attractive oriental shape. Because the ribs are fibreglass, they're strong, flexible, and highly wind-resistant. For optimal durability, we've designed the canopy using heavy-duty 180g polyester in a choice of modern colours. Rated UPF30, it also delivers exceptional protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. Please note, that a parasol base is not included.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
