Description
The 3m Shanghai Cantilever Parasol can be used as a free standing parasol provided you use a weighted base (not included) to keep the parasol in place. This product features an easy to operate crank system which will erect the canopy position when required. This cantilever parasol is made using a polyester fabric with a steel frame. THIS PARASOL DOES NOT COME WITH A WEIGHTED BASE. We recommend the water fillable base (for cross base cantilever parasols) for this product. Parasols provide shade, shelter from rain and a place to rest, while acting as an ornamental feature. A perfect way to add a classic modern style to bring your indoor fine dining outside while still having protection from the elements. The modern umbrella consists of a circular fabric or plastic screen stretched over hinged ribs that radiate from a central pole.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
