Description
The Sewanee pendant has one suspended horizontal ring with another inside it, at a vertical tilt, forming a globe shape. Each ring is filled with round faceted crystals in two sizes, held in position by looped wire circles. The crystals have a smoked finish, giving interesting sparkles and reflections, heightened by the polished chrome finish of the framework. All the presence of a globe light without the solidity, the Sewanee is a contemporary reinterpretation of a glittering chandelier, resulting in an elegant statement centrepiece. It is ideal for over a dining table, especially a round one, or in a living area or hallway. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
