Description

These four handmade panels display traditional paintings of swallows in the trees and people ploughing the earth, signalling the coming of spring. The designs are hand painted onto green-stained glass, which, when the light shines through, casts shadows on the wall in a 3D effect. Each piece will have individual characteristics and may vary in colour due to the artisanal process.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the set of four Hokkaido wall art panels for their understated charm and versatile colour palette. The distressed green finish gives them a slightly rustic, vintage feel that works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors. They’re ideal for adding a calming, natural touch to living rooms, bedrooms, or even spacious hallways. For styling, consider placing them above a sofa or sideboard, either aligned in a grid or staggered for a more relaxed look. Pair with natural fibres or neutral-toned furniture to allow the artwork to be the focal point, and keep the surrounding décor simple to highlight their subtle elegance.
