Description
Set of three wall shelf is made of a light-colour wood and has a simple, elegant design. It is mounted on the wall and has a small lip at the front to prevent items from falling off. I’m a fan of these floating oak shelves because their simple lines and natural finish slot easily into Scandinavian, modern-industrial or minimalist schemes. They give you display space without the bulk of a full bookcase and the warm oak tone works well against both white and coloured walls.
To style them, mix in objects of varying heights - think a small plant pot next to a stack of books, a framed print leaning at the back and a decorative vase or candle for interest. Keep each shelf fairly streamlined (three to five items), and stagger the heights rather than lining everything up dead straight. If you’re using all three, you can play with symmetry or go deliberately off-centre to add a bit of relaxed charm.
