I’m a fan of these oak floating shelves for their clean, minimalist look and the warmth the light wood grain brings to a room. They suit Scandi and contemporary spaces equally well, and they’re robust enough for kitchens, hallways or home offices without looking bulky.
For styling, keep each shelf fairly sparse - think a trio of small potted plants, a couple of art prints in simple frames and a neat stack of books. Vary heights and textures, group items in odd numbers and leave breathing space around each piece. Ensure you anchor them into solid walls or use appropriate fixings if you’re mounting on plasterboard.
