Our Stylist Says
I love these grey velvet bar stools for their versatility and chic, contemporary look. The button-tufted backrest adds a subtle touch of elegance, making them suitable for modern kitchens, breakfast bars, or even stylish home pubs. Their adjustable height makes them practical for different counter heights, while the velvet finish brings a soft, luxurious feel that can elevate even casual spaces. For styling tips, pair them with a sleek quartz or wooden surface for contrast, or keep things minimalist with a monochrome colour palette to enhance their sophisticated vibe. These stools work well in both urban apartment settings and more traditional interiors that embrace a touch of modern glamour.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
