Our Stylist Says
I love these vintage-inspired tripod lamps because they bring a contemporary yet slightly industrial touch to any space. The chrome finish adds a sleek, modern edge, while the navy blue and silver fabric shades introduce colour and texture without overwhelming the room. They work particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms with a coastal, nautical, or modern aesthetic. For styling tips, position them on either side of a neutral sofa or bed to create balanced lighting while enhancing visual interest. Pairing them with minimal, clean-lined furniture will keep the look fresh, but they also lend themselves well to slightly eclectic settings where a touch of metallic detailing is appreciated.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
