I’m a fan of these rustic backless stools for their simple, natural feel and slim profile. The woven seat and warm wood tone sit comfortably in kitchens styled near-scandi, modern farmhouse or light coastal schemes, slipping under an island or breakfast bar when not in use. For a bit of contrast, layer each with a small textured cushion in muted greens or soft greys, and position on a low-pile jute rug to define the seating area. Because they’re backless and lightweight, they’re easy to pull out for extra dinner guests or tuck away completely, making them as practical as they are versatile.
