I’m a big fan of these round wooden bedside tables for their compact footprint and clean lines. The dark brown shelves paired with black metal legs suit modern Scandinavian or industrial-inspired bedrooms, and they work equally well in a cosy cottage scheme thanks to their warm timber tones.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
