Our Stylist Says
I love this pair of black table lights with glass globes for their sleek, contemporary look. They work particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, adding a subtle touch of sophistication without overwhelming the space. They’re versatile enough to sit on a side table, console, or shelf, providing ambient lighting that enhances rather than dominates. Practical styling tip: group them with other black accents or neutral tones to create a balanced aesthetic, and use warm dimmable bulbs to soften the glow for cosy evenings. Their monochrome finish makes them easy to adapt across different colour schemes, making them a reliable choice for styled or everyday interiors.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
